Privacy Policy
What this site collects, what we do with it, and how to reach us about it.
What we collect
This website collects the information you choose to share with us — your name, email address, phone number, and the description of your matter when you submit the contact form or email the firm. Like any website, our hosting provider also records standard technical details of each visit, such as your IP address and the pages requested, in short-lived server logs used for security and to keep the site running. The site sets no cookies, runs no advertising trackers, and uses no analytics.
How it is used
Information you send is used to respond to your inquiry, evaluate whether the firm can help, and communicate with you about your matter. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing.
Form delivery and service providers
Contact form submissions are screened for spam and then emailed to our inbox (team@ublegal.com), with a copy to a member of our staff so nothing is missed. Submissions are not stored on this website. The providers that handle this on our behalf are our website host (Vercel), our email delivery service (Resend, which sends through Amazon Web Services), and our firm email system (Microsoft 365), all in the United States. Each keeps delivery records for a limited period under its own terms. If you would prefer not to use the form, you can email or call the firm directly.
Text messaging
If you tick the consent box on the contact form, or text us first, we may text you about your inquiry at the number you provide. How that works and how to stop at any time is set out in our Acceptable Use Policy.
Payments
If you pay an invoice through the "Make a Payment" page, you are taken to a hosted payment page operated by Stax Payments. Your card details are entered on their page and handled under their privacy policy; this website never receives or stores card numbers.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Confidentiality reminder
Until an attorney–client relationship is established in writing, information you send through this website may not be treated as privileged or confidential. Please keep initial messages general.
Retention & questions
We keep correspondence as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above and for our professional obligations; the providers named above keep their own delivery records for a limited period. Questions about this policy — or requests to update or delete information you have sent — may be directed to team@ublegal.com.
