Acceptable Use Policy

How this site and our text messaging may be used, and how to stop messages at any time.

Text messaging

If you provide a mobile number and consent on our contact form, Underwood & Beard may send you text messages relating to your inquiry, including replies and follow-ups. Messages may be sent using automated technology. If you text us first, we may reply by text to the number you used.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of engaging the firm or of receiving any service. You can decline and still contact us by phone or email.

Stopping or getting help

  • To stop receiving texts from us, reply STOP to any message, or tell us by phone or email, and we will stop.
  • For help, reply HELP, email team@ublegal.com, or call the office.

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Message frequency varies with your matter. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Confidentiality

Text messages are not a secure channel. Please do not send confidential or time-sensitive information by text, and note that no attorney–client relationship is created by texting the firm — that relationship is formed only by a written engagement agreement. See our disclaimer and privacy policy.

Use of this website

You may read, print, and share the content of this site for your own informational use. You may not scrape it for bulk reuse, republish it as your own, misrepresent its authorship, or use it to send unsolicited commercial messages. Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or interfere with its operation.

Nothing on this site is legal advice, and the firm does not undertake to keep it current for your circumstances.
